ABOUT DOON DESIGNS
Born in England in the early 2000's, I once drew & coloured a picture of Spider-Man to the sound of the Nickelback song in the credits to the first Sam Raimi movie on loop… On VHS. If that doesn't mark the start of my now lifelong desire to be an artist, then that would imply other people are defining that for me and I really shouldn't.
With a reputation for exciting designs, ideas and two distinctions for art & design theory in college in a row, I create with the need to understand the world & myself better and the philosophy that your dumbest, silliest ideas often become your strongest ones if you give them the time to grow & prosper.
My interests & inspirations include fighting games like Street Fighter & Darkstalkers, comic books & manga like Spider-Man & Mob Psycho 100, tabletop roleplaying and, more often than not, whatever the hell friends bring up to me in casual conversations sometimes.
My main desire to create is to finally see stories I want to see be made, but also, what my friends might wanna see as well. If it weren't for all the different kinds of people around the world I've been given the honour to befriend, I would've still been the bitter, ignorant person I was in my younger years. But I'm not, and honestly, I'm glad! Fuck that guy.
